How to Set Up Replenishment NotificationsUpdated 2 years ago
ShipHero makes it easy for you to identify when a Purchase Order needs to be created through Replenishment Notifications.
Definitions
- Reorder Level
- The 'Available' value of a SKU must reach to trigger a reorder. Setting this to 0 will prevent a SKU from automatically being added to a Purchase Order.
- Reorder Amount
- The number that should be reordered when an SKU reaches the Reorder Level.
How to Set Up a Replenishment Notification
Your Account Manager will need to assist with this first part of the process where they will enable the notifications:
- In Ship Hero, your Account Manager will go to My Account > Settings > Notifications
- Check the "Active" box for Low Stock
- They will then choose the day and time that you want to be notified
- Lastly, they will add the email address you want the notification sent to:
How to Order Ahead
The Reorder Level can be specified in Product Page within the Product Settings.
By setting a reorder amount, you will be notified when a product goes below this amount of units.
- Go to Ship Hero > Products. You will then Choose the product > Settings (small pencil on the right hand in the left box)
- Scroll down to the box "Reorder Level" and set the amount to the minimum # of units you want to have before receiving an alert to add the product to a Purchase Order.
- If the Reorder Level is higher than the "Reorder Amount + Available," the system will use the Reorder Level as the number of items in the Purchase Order.
- If the Reorder Level is lower than the "Reorder Amount + Available," the system will use the Reorder Amount as the number of items in the Purchase Order.
