How to: Overselling and PresalesUpdated 9 months ago

We understand the importance of having pre-orders and overselling available and want to help out in any way we can.

For Nice Commerce to be able to accommodate presales and overselling, all orders in this category fall outside of our 24-hour fulfillment window - including all subsequent orders

To start the process, please connect with your Account Manager at [email protected] so that we can best help and prepare these orders. Confirming the timeline is the first step, and we will work with you till all the orders have been processed.

How-To:

  1. Confirm the timeline for your presale or overselling

We want to make sure this presale is both successful and efficient! A longer lead time for presale can lead to potential complications that can be avoided by mapping a timeline together that is feasible and still adheres to the Nice processes.

  2. Confirm how Nice will receive the orders

Will the orders flow into ShipHero from your store?
Are the orders going to be manually entered?
Do you need support with an order upload?

  3. Setting expectations for when the products will arrive at the warehouse

Once the products arrive, we will work with you and your project needs. Orders will be outside of SLA, but Nice will work to get these orders processed as quickly as possible

  4. Partially Shipping Presale and Oversold Orders

For presales and oversold orders, they will not be ready to ship. If an order needs to be partially shipped, the order can be updated to ship with what is in stock.

By enabling "Allow Partial" within the order in ShipHero, the order will ship as-is and the oversold or out-of-stock items will remain in the order.

By default, if a product is oversold, Nice Commerce will place the order into a back-ordered pick tier away from current orders.
