Do you ship Hazardous Goods?Updated 9 months ago

Yes, we can ship Hazardous Goods!

Please inquire more by reaching out to [email protected]

But first, what is Hazmat?
A hazardous material is a substance that is “capable of posing an unreasonable risk to health, safety, and property when transported in commerce under the federal hazardous materials transportation law” according to the Secretary of Transportation.

What are examples of dangerous/haz goods?
Identifying dangerous goods is the first step to reducing the risks posed by the product with proper packaging, communication, handling, and stowage.

Steps to ship hazmat products:

  1. Please provide your SDS file (Safety Data Sheet) from your manufacturer as part of our Receiving Guidelines. Also known as an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is a document that contains information on the potential hazards (health, fire, reactivity, and environmental) and how to work safely with the product.
  2. Once we receive your SDS file, we will analyze the type of product and we will let you know if you are considering hazmat shipping or not.
  3. If applicable for hazmat shipping our support team will set up your account accordingly. Please note additional fees will be applied per order for paperwork, packaging, and labeling regulations:

Shipping international Dangerous Goods:

  • We are now distinguishing Haz shipments between excepted & limited quantity shipments.
  • Any shipment with nail polish and perfume (less than 30mL) can ship via FedEx or DHL as an excepted quantity as long as the destination country allows excepted quantities. This is good news because these shipments do not require any additional hazardous declaration paperwork, meaning fewer fees.
