What is Inventory Replenishment?Updated 9 months ago

What is Inventory or Stock Replenishment?

Stock replenishment is when units are moved from back stock to a primary location (typically to a pick bin). This is also known as pulling forward inventory.

How does Stock Replenishment work within Nice's Warehouse?

Nice has an internal system that triggers our Operations team to notify them that we are in need of moving more inventory forward from back stock to a primary location.

How often is Stock Replenished (pulled forward) at Nice?

The Nice Operations team replenishes inventory multiple times a day. For larger items or items with a high velocity, we have larger pick bins or pick locations so that more units are available.

If our pick team finds that not enough units are present when picking orders, then a hold may be placed on an order to stop that order from continuing in our fulfillment flywheel. If a picker/ replenishment hold like this is present, then please contact your Account Manager and do not remove the hold.
If the hold is removed, the order will come back into our fulfillment flow and have the same issue present, further delaying the order
This hold signals our Warehouse Managers that more items are needed for the order to continue, and they can act accordingly.

How can I set up Replenishment notifications in my account?

These notifications keep you informed when inventory is getting low for a product, and we have you covered!

THIS Help Article walks you through the steps of how to set up replenishment notifications so that you have enough inventory on hand to keep up with demand.
