Option 1: Loop
Who is Loop?
Loop is a paid application that integrates directly with our WMS that allows returns created in Loop to automatically push via integration to your ShipHero account where the Nice team can then action the return upon receipt where those movements and actions are all logged and communicated from and to both systems. Loop can also integrate with Shopify and other Stores.
Simply put, Loop is a returns management system that helps to automate the process of reverse logistics. Loop specializes in customer experience, capturing data and trends along with great exchange flows that continue a customer relationship and lead to higher LTV (customer lifetime value)
Why Loop?
Loop offers a self-service portal that gives customers control over their return process, presenting them with custom flows that lead to retention, information gathering, and more.
Loop offers customers the option to exchange, return, or can provide INSTANT credit to shop. When a customer exchanges or uses their credit, Nice can then ship out the new order and Returnly will cover the risk of the original item. The result is a world-class shopping experience with an average consumer satisfaction (CSAT) score of 91.
- This link is associated with their Help Center where more articles are included if you would like to review
- There is an important step to the integration that we would like to highlight to make sure you turn off the re-stock option in Loop, so that it does not push returned inventory into your Shopify.
- If the "Loop restock" functionality is enabled, then units will appear as "sellable" inventory in your Shopify (if they fail QA) and you could end up with back-ordered units:
Which Loop plan is right for my store?
Here is Loop's pricing page that outlines their plan offerings. Most of our clients are on their Essential plan where certain add-ons may be needed for your accountKey Features & Functionality: Returns Center, Exchanges, Tracking, Returns Manager (RMA management + refunding), Analytics, Product Recommendations, Gift Returns, Nice Commerce integration, etc.
Available Add-Ons: Credits, Exchanges, and BIG Shopify capabilities
In ShipHero, two return options can be enabled to aid in your processing of returns:
1. Implementing iframe code to a section of your website to create a returns portal for customers to be able to create their own returns. The return would then automatically flow into your ShipHero returns portal to be managed and actioned by your Team and the Nice Team
HERE is a guide from ShipHero that explains this process where your Account Manager would need to assist in its implementation and settings
Below is an example iFrame that we added to our Nice Commerce website to test this functionality:
2. Create contact forms for customers to submit return order information to you. This way, the customer can provide you with the details about the reason for the return and then you can determine whether or not to process it manually in ShipHero.
