Here is a breakdown of the difference between DDU and DDP when shipping internationally

Duty Payment Options, DDU and DDP:


Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU)

The shipper/exporter/manufacturer clears the goods for export and is responsible for making them available to the buyer at the named place of destination, not cleared for import. The seller assumes all responsibilities for delivering the goods to the named place of destination. The buyer assumes all responsibility for import clearance, duties, administrative costs, and any other costs upon import as well as transport to the final destination.

An administrative fee to facilitate this transaction may apply.
