How to create a Manual Order in ShipheroUpdated 2 hours ago
Creating a manual order in ShipHero is helpful when an order isn't placed through your eCommerce store and needs to be entered manually for fulfillment. This commonly applies to:
Local pick‑ups
Third‑party shipments
Freight shipments
Special handling or internal brand orders
Step 1: Start and Name Your Manual Order
In Shiphero go to Orders → Create An Order

2. Add an Order Number beginning with "MO_BrandName" using one of the following formats:
Type Instructions Example Format Pick-up Include the person's name who will be picking up the order MO_BrandName_Pickup_[PickupPerson]
Third-Party Include the shipment ID or other identification that matches the third

Step 2: Add An Order Number
For Pick Ups: Please add your company name along with the person's name who will be picking up
Example: MO_NicePickUp_Sally
Third Party: Please include the Shipment ID or other Identification that matches the Third Party Labels, PO#, etc. Please also match this to labels uploaded to your Drive
Example: MO_Food52_Stevens3541
Freight: Please include "Freight" or another shipment identification for our team to recognize the shipment
Example: MO_NiceFreight_7898

For Pick Ups: Please add your company name along with the person's name who will be picking up
Example: MO_NicePickUp_Sally
Third Party: Please include the Shipment ID or other Identification that matches the Third Party Labels, PO#, etc. Please also match this to labels uploaded to your Drive

Freight: Please include "Freight" or another shipment identification for our team to recognize the shipment

Step 3: Carrier Details
You can select a carrier and shipping method like FedEx Ground, or select "Cheapest/ Ever" to allow ShipHero to rate shop for the most economical way of shipping the order. You can also specify "Cheapest/ 4 days" or another timeline allowing ShipHero to rate shop within your selected timeframe.
You can also select from our 3 Generic methods which allow an order ship to be shipped without a carrier label, but rather will notify our shipping team of how the order needs to be handled:
- Generic / Pick up for Pickups
- Generic / Third Party for Third Party shipments
- Generic / Freight for Freight shipments
**If you are creating a Pickup (Generic / Pick up) or a Freight Shipment (Generic / Freight) an appointment needs to be made. Please refer to our Knowledge Base article, Calendars for Pick Up, Delivery, and Outbound Freight
Step 4: Add Product to Order and update Quantity
Search in the field to locate the product that you wish to ship. We recommend searching by SKU.

Step 5: Hit Save
Once you save the order you can view it in the Orders tab of ShipHero
